Belts "Good Luck, Babe!" She was referring to a picture that showed the singer sitting alone behind a keyboard on a small stage.
Weeks after her June Governor's Ball performance, How to WatchRoan made her Tonight Show debut with a feather-adorned performance of her brand-new song "Good Luck, Babe!" single after her visit with Fallon. So, Fallon inquired, "What does it feel like to be thrust into pop stardom?"

Roan clarified, "That was a reference to Sasha Colby," adding, "There are gay people here," to applause from the audience. Colby is a rising drag star who won Season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race. She is famous for saying, "I'm your favorite drag queens' favorite drag queen." Colby is also known for her famous line.
She stated to Fallon, "It just hit me through the heart." So I thought, "I hope Sasha Colby watches me one day," and that's why I said it."
Roan got her desire, as Colby shared the This evening Show clasp to her Instagram stories hours after the fact.

Roan told Fallon about the looks she and her stylist, Genesis Webb, come up with: "We pull from drag, we pull from horror movies, we pull from burlesque, we pull from theater." I love looking pretty and frightening. or similar, tacky and pretty. or simply unattractive! She added, "I love that as well."
Roan's stage set was a pixie dream as she sang before a lofty swan high position.
