 Interesting, Mensik said after his victory that he was close to withdrawing from the tournament due to a knee injury an hour before his first match. This was a surprising revelation. "One hour before my first match here, I was holding the paper of pulling out from the tournament because my knee was hurting a lot," Mensik shared. "I was just lucky that the referee was having lunch. I came for the treatment. He did a miracle and because of him, I'm standing here."
 Jakub Dimensions rapid ascent in the tennis world has been remarkable. He broke into the ATP Top A100 in February 2024 after reaching his first ATP Tour final in Doha, where he also defeated then-World No. 5 Andrey Rublev. His run to the third round of the 2023 US Open as a qualifier made him the youngest to do so at a Grand Slam since 2004.
